Snowstorm Hits Cleveland

Word Count: 195
If anyone is reading this out west I would suggest you look away because you may not be able to handle the graphic images. The snowstorm started yesterday around lunch time and as the time of the posting the snow is still falling. I heard yesterday that the snow was falling at an alarming rate of nearly 2inches of snow per hour. This made for a real bad trip home. What usually takes me about 20 minutes took me well over an hour. The snow continued through the night and I woke up to more snow than I have seen in a long time. If you parked on the street I feel sorry for you because you were now the owner of a 6 foot snow drift. For the rest of we woke up to about 10 - 12 inches of snow. Lucky for me I can code from home so there is no way I am going out in any of this today. I also wanted to clarify that the images below, they were taken from http://www.cleveland.com.

Nice pics you found... yeah, I am stuck in this, too. I knew it was going to be impossible to get to work when I saw a snowplow STUCK on my street last night. Thankfully, my boss was smart enough to get us approved for the entire development team (less a consultant) to work from home today. I pity the consultant, who had to drive 2 hours to work this morning, and it took him 3 1/2 hours to get home last night.

I agree with Todd. Here's a clip that made me laugh... it showed so little snow:
